I feel all Jane Austen-y!

People. I am geeking hardcore.

I just visited a customer who has a little woodworking habit. MAKING PENS. I mean, hand turned, beautiful wood fountain pens.

HE GAVE ME ONE.

And not just that. A bottle of Levenger Raven Black came with it.

Plus its a gorgeous day and they live on a farm and I spent two hours with them, some of which was in the SUNSHINE AND DAFFODILS. And they were nice people. Its an exceptionally happy Tuesday.

Don't feel bad, I geek out over things like pretty paper and nice pens, too.

Ohhh. This takes me back to high school when I got into calligraphy and used pots of ink and fancy pens. I CAN SMELL THE INK!

Wow! It's a beautiful pen! Whatever you do don't take it to the bank or grocery store where you might accidentally leave it for some lucky S.O.B. to walk off with it.

I love days like you've described: the weather is beautiful, the foliage is foliaging (totally just made that word up). Plus you got an unexpected gift! Score!

I am glad that you had a great day.

I'd make a huge mess with the fountain pen! I'm terrible, can't use a sharpie without permanently marking myself! LOL

I love pretty pens too but stick to ball point!

Great looking pen!

I admit...I'm still a sucker for a nice pen. Time for you to write a classic. :)
